2023年8月23日至9月26日，宇宙画廊（杭州）将举办艺术家黄震最新个展“时光的转场”，此次展览将呈现艺术家近几年创作的20余件精选作品，作品延续艺术家构建的人类行为，自然，环境这样宏观的主题。
2019年，一次偶然的机会让黄震开始创作具有卡通特征的动物形象，其中就包括这只名叫Sio的小北极熊。从《Sio的漂流剧场》系列作品中，我们可以看到艺术家用具象的表现手法，卡通的风格，以及符号化的元素构建出的虚构甚至荒诞的场景。这些作品打破了时间和环境的界限，逝去的快乐时光不再眷顾我们，而是转场到了这些卡通人物的身上，让我们得以从他们的视角去观察和思考环境的变化，而猝不及防的舞台背景切换，就好像我们转瞬即逝的童年以及兵荒马乱草草结束的青春岁月一样，来不及细细感受就成过往，只留下片段的记忆和莫可名状的情绪。
From August 23 to September 26, 2023, Universe Gallery (Hangzhou) will host artist Huang Zhen's latest solo exhibition " Transition In Time", which will present more than 20 selected works created by the artist in recent years, which continue the macro themes of human behavior, nature and environment constructed by the artist.
2019, a chance led Huang Zhen to create cartoonish animal characters, including this little polar bear named Sio. From the "Sio's Drifting Theater" series, we can see the artist's figurative expression, cartoon style, and symbolic elements to construct fictional and even absurd scenes. These works break the boundaries of time and environment, and the happy times that have passed no longer favor us, but transition to these cartoon characters, allowing us to observe and think about changes in the environment from their perspective, and the stage background switch is unexpected, just like our fleeting childhood and the hastily ended youth years, before we have time to feel it carefully, it becomes the past, leaving only fragments of memories and inexplicable emotions.
